FC Dallas kicks off the post-Luchi era with a must win match against Vancouver and comes away with no points after a last minute penalty save against Franco Jara.  Dustin and Jonathan break down what changes they saw Marco Ferruzzi make in his first match as the FC Dallas interim coach.

Luchi is out. Was moving on from him the right move for FC Dallas?

FC Dallas announced the immediate removal of Luchi Gonzalez as head coach on Sunday, with Marco Ferruzzi stepping in as the interim coach thru the remainder of the season. Your DSS crew talks about the final matches for Luchi and breakdown the comments from Dan Hunt and Andre Zanotta at the press conference on Monday. Dustin, Jonathan, and Nico get into what this means for the club, the impact to homegrowns, and answer the question on whether or not this was the right move for FC Dallas.

Dustin also shares a story of when the club was potentially looking to replace Luchi earlier this season and whether this timing really makes sense at this point.

Dustin, Nico and Jonathan talk about barely-missed opportunities, the return of captain Hedges, and the continued growth of the back line. They also discuss Luchi Gonzalez’ options for the upcoming matches with Paxton Pomykal potentially out, Justin Che returning, and Matt Hedges coming off 100 minutes.
