SKC Knocks FCD From Atop The West

Sporting Kansas City came to Frisco and thoroughly spanked FC Dallas 3-0. A good first half was negated by mistakes and ultimately ended with no chance of FC Dallas winning the Western Conference.

Dustin and Tristan discuss the match, whether or not FC Dallas has a “pressure problem”, and whether or not the team needs to revert back to its counter-attacking ways.

Plus! Oscar Pareja’s press conference in full.

Rebroadcast: Allen Reed – FCD Director of Stadium Grounds

We’re coming off the craziest week at Toyota Stadium that we can remember, and the pitch held up wonderfully. It weathered (pardon the pun) 5″ of rain, 4 Women’s National Team matches, 1 high school football game, a 25,000 attendee concert, and an FC Dallas match.

Allen Reed, Adam Portenier and his team can take all of the credit for how the field has held up.

We talked to Allen about the Toyota Stadium drainage system and preparing for rain, dealing with concerts, customizing the field for the team, and putting designs on the field.

FC Dallas Beats Orlando City 2-0

FC Dallas beat Orlando City 2-0 after a short rain delay towards the end of the match. Dustin and Tristan discuss Pablo Aranguiz’ 2nd start at left-wing and his link-ups (or lack-there-of) with Ryan Hollingshead. They also talk about Mosquera’s goal and Urruti leading the team in assists (you read that right).

PLUS – Dustin caught up with Dom Badji to chat about how he’s feeling heading into the end of the season. Also, Dustin and Tristan play and discuss Reggie Cannon’s post-game comments on his play and call-up to the USMNT, as well as play Oscar Pareja’s post-game press conference in full.

The show wraps up with what they expect for the match against DC United.

FCD’s 0-0 Draw in Portland with Jared Tilley

Dustin is joined by Jared Tilley (@Jtilley02) of BigDSoccer to run the rule over FC Dallas’ 0-0 draw in Portland. They discuss the game-plan, the personnel, and the lack of goals from open-play. Dustin and Jared also give their thoughts on Cristian Colmán’s performance as well as whether they are internet-mad at Pablo Aranguiz not getting game-time.

Finally, they look ahead to the Orlando City match and what they expect from the team this weekend.
