They discussed their feelings on how the season went (and ended), rating the transfer business by FC Dallas, looking ahead to the expansion draft, and the needs for 2019.

Then they broke down the Oscar Pareja situation, speculated on replacements, talked about the USL League 1 side, and ran the rule across the development deal with Bayern Munich.

End of Season Review and Post-Season Preview with Peter Welpton

Peter Welpton of Kickaround and 3rd Degree fame joins Dustin to break down the loss to Colorado and the way the season ended. They also look ahead at what to expect from the knock-out game with Portland, and MLS playoffs on the whole.

Also, Peter said “dooty” and talks about learning the “other” meaning of Peter.

SKC Knocks FCD From Atop The West

Sporting Kansas City came to Frisco and thoroughly spanked FC Dallas 3-0. A good first half was negated by mistakes and ultimately ended with no chance of FC Dallas winning the Western Conference.

Dustin and Tristan discuss the match, whether or not FC Dallas has a “pressure problem”, and whether or not the team needs to revert back to its counter-attacking ways.

Plus! Oscar Pareja’s press conference in full.

Rebroadcast: Allen Reed – FCD Director of Stadium Grounds

We’re coming off the craziest week at Toyota Stadium that we can remember, and the pitch held up wonderfully. It weathered (pardon the pun) 5″ of rain, 4 Women’s National Team matches, 1 high school football game, a 25,000 attendee concert, and an FC Dallas match.

Allen Reed, Adam Portenier and his team can take all of the credit for how the field has held up.

We talked to Allen about the Toyota Stadium drainage system and preparing for rain, dealing with concerts, customizing the field for the team, and putting designs on the field.

FC Dallas Beats Orlando City 2-0

FC Dallas beat Orlando City 2-0 after a short rain delay towards the end of the match. Dustin and Tristan discuss Pablo Aranguiz’ 2nd start at left-wing and his link-ups (or lack-there-of) with Ryan Hollingshead. They also talk about Mosquera’s goal and Urruti leading the team in assists (you read that right).

PLUS – Dustin caught up with Dom Badji to chat about how he’s feeling heading into the end of the season. Also, Dustin and Tristan play and discuss Reggie Cannon’s post-game comments on his play and call-up to the USMNT, as well as play Oscar Pareja’s post-game press conference in full.

The show wraps up with what they expect for the match against DC United.

FCD’s 0-0 Draw in Portland with Jared Tilley

Dustin is joined by Jared Tilley (@Jtilley02) of BigDSoccer to run the rule over FC Dallas’ 0-0 draw in Portland. They discuss the game-plan, the personnel, and the lack of goals from open-play. Dustin and Jared also give their thoughts on Cristian Colmán’s performance as well as whether they are internet-mad at Pablo Aranguiz not getting game-time.

Finally, they look ahead to the Orlando City match and what they expect from the team this weekend.

Note: This episode was recorded prior to the news that Cristian Colmán has torn an ACL and is out for the season. Despite the criticism we give players at times, these are our boys on our team and we want the best for them. Speedy recovery, Cristian!

FC Dallas edges Vancouver 2-1 plus Steve Davis

FC Dallas pulled out a big 2-1 road win in Vancouver on Saturday and Dustin and Tristan are here to talk about it.

They cover everything from the defense to Matt Hedge’s late winning header.

Then Steve Davis (@stevedavis90) drops by to chat about the recent Oscar Pareja USMNT interview (or non-interview) news and what he means to FC Dallas. He also talks about how soccer journalism has changed since he started in 1994 and drops some truth about Jacori Hayes before answering listener questions about Pablo Aranguiz and Moises Hernandez.

Scoreless Draw With Columbus – plus Carter Baum

FC Dallas drew 0-0 with Columbus Crew on Saturday. In this week’s episode, Dustin and Tristan try to be more entertaining than the match (not that it’d be hard) while discussing FC Dallas’ tactics and substitutions before playing audio from Oscar Pareja’s post match press conference and from Reggie Cannon in the locker room.

FC Dallas’ Digital Media Manager, Carter Baum (@carterbaum) stops by to close out the show. He answers listener questions and gives an insider view as to how the new faces are acclimating.

FCD Beat Houston 4-2 and USMNT Talk with Arman Kafai

Arman Kafai (@armankafai) joins Dustin and Tristan to talk about FC Dallas’ 4-2 win over Houston and play locker room audio from after the game. They also chat about the upcoming USMNT camp and the coaching conundrum.
